We are proud to introduce this pilot program to engage retired individuals in becoming active participants in the Jefferson Chamber and Jefferson Parish Community by aiding the Chamber in member recruitment. We will train participants to sell memberships by stressing benefits of the Chamber. Senior Diplomats will earn $60 for each new membership sold and $30 for each subsequent renewal membership. Senior Diplomats will be provided leads based on monthly new business lists (tremendous opportunity – 33,000 companies in the Parish and only 1,000 Chamber member businesses). So there are a lot of businesses to approach. We have weekly meetings 3:30 to 4:30p.m. each Monday at the Jefferson Chamber conference room for planning, training and reward events. The public is invited to attend. Come meet new friends and learn about the Jefferson Chamber. Your questions about the Senior Diplomat Program are welcome. We anticipate being able to offer Special Incentive programs in conjunction with this program. We simply ask them to be capable of sales employment and they should have transferable skills from past work experience and transportation. Success will be based on the recruitment of a reliable, mature and productive sales force where time and freedom are desired. This will include a sales team of individuals who wish to remain active, looking for financial compensation and involvement within the community. This is a wonderful opportunity to watch the business re-growth and meet new friends.
