Committees play a vital role in the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. By selecting a Chamber Committee or Task Force, you can match your passion and interests in service to our community. Committee membership is open to all Chamber Member firms and their employees. Membership Committee

The Membership Committee helps in new members recruitment, retention, Diplomat Corps, and Member-2-Member Benefits where members receive special discounts from other members. 

Diplomats
Archie Corder, Chair

The Diplomats play a critical and influential role for the Chamber, as they are the individuals who serve as the public relations arm of the Chamber.  The Diplomats meet and greet new members, participate in ribbon cuttings and serve as regular volunteers for the organization’s functions.  They have become a vital part of the Chamber, especially during a time when a smiling, welcoming face provides comfort.

Business Development and Growth Committee

The business development and growth committee is focused on small business issues/advocacy and economic and workforce development. The government committee’s principal to anticipate and react to emerging public policy.  The committee monitors legislative and governmental policies that may have an affect on Jefferson Parish, at the federal, state and local level.

Special Events Committee

The special events committee is responsible for the Chamber ’s annual special event fundraisers like the Golf Tournament, Crawfish Boil and Jubilation Gala.
