Parish President, Councilwoman-at-Large and Superintendent to Address Jefferson Chamber
METAIRIE, LA – TheJefferson Chamber will host the State of Jefferson luncheon, presented by Peoples Health, on Thursday, November21. The luncheon will be televised live on Jefferson Parish Television(JPTV). JPTV is available in JeffersonParish on Cox Communications Channel 6, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, and isstreaming on jeffparish.net.
Specialguests include Jefferson Parish President Mike Yenni, Jefferson Parish Councilwoman-at-Large
Cynthia Lee-Sheng, and Jefferson Parish Superintendet of Education Dr. Cade Brumley. Each year, the Chamber invites the Jefferson Parish leadership to discuss and evaluate progress, performance and future planning in Jefferson Parish. The Joseph S. Yenni Award, sponsored by Tulane Lakeside Hospital, will be presented to the most outstanding Jefferson Parish Employee of the year.
The State of Jefferson is held at the Crowne Plaza New OrleansAirport Hotel and begins with networking at 11:30 AM and the Luncheon at 12 PM.Tickets and sponsorships are sold out, but Business Display Tables areavailable for purchase.
Proceeds from the event support the businessorganization’s efforts in public policy advocacy and quality of lifeinitiatives.
