Chambers Health Trust (CHT), a self-funded MEWA, has named the Jefferson Chamber as its newest statewide sponsor, expanding access to affordable, competitive group health plans for Louisiana businesses through the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana network, with Liviniti managing pharmacy benefits.
As a MEWA, CHT is able to create a collaborative network of employer groups with the goal of meaningful cost savings.
Participation Requirements:
· Only full-time employees are eligible for coverage.
· A minimum of 2 employees must enroll.
· At least 50% of all non-exempt employees must enroll.
· Employers must contribute at least 50% of the employee only portion of coverage.
